Now We Can Legally Download Films

By Craig Boyer

There have been many news stores about people that paid huge fines for illegally downloading various copyrighted content. Such issues have made a lot of people fearful of downloading anything from the Internet. So, you should be aware that there are sources that you can use to download movies and they are perfectly legal!

While they are not free, they do provide a lot of value for your money. Their fees are generally much cheaper than what it would cost you to go out to the theater. They are also significantly lower than the price most stores charge for DVDs.

Any Internet search engine will provide you with quite a few options for movie download services. There are some companies that charge per movie. Several even provide a rental option at a cheaper rate, or you can spend a little more and just outright purchase the film.

If you choose the rental option, you can only download and watch the movie once. After you watch it, the file can no longer be used. If you want to watch it many times, then you should use the purchase option. However, the rental choice is great if you do not want to spend a lot or are afraid you may not like it. Some places even let you burn the movies to a DVD.

Some of the services do not charge for each movie you download. Rather, they have a fixed membership fee. You select your level of membership and then you can download a certain number of movies every month. There are several that also have a yearly option, in case you are not really a regular film viewer.

Unlike traditional movie stores, these services also have no space constraints. That means they have a very large selection of movies to pick from. The only thing they deal with is a digital file and this does not take up a large amount of room. Without overhead costs, they can also offer much lower prices.

If you use these services, you also never have to worry about late fees. You no longer have to worry about running last nights DVD back to the store, before a certain time. Your fee has already been paid and there will be no other surprise charges showing up. Anyone that has ever returned a movie late knows how quickly those fees can add up.

If you did happen to download a movie that you did not like, you also have not wasted a lot of money. You have only spent a fraction of what a DVD would have cost you. Getting rid of it is as simple as deleting it from your computer.

Such websites are known for offering everything from the old classics to the newest Hollywood blockbusters. You can easily search their sites. Most let you browse by title, director, genre, actor or title. This means you can find what you want very easily.

So yes, you can enjoy movie downloads and you do not have to break the law to do it. All you have to do is sign up with the service that offers the films you want to watch. It is easy to enjoy them all, right in your very own home. - 40732
